What gets deleted
- Your user account, login credentials, and 2FA records.
- All personal information: name, contact details, address, emergency contact, social history.
- All health data: observations, biomarkers, biological-age calculations, allergies, medications, conditions, plan history, mood entries.

What we are required to retain
Australian healthcare law (the Health Records and Information Privacy Act 2002 (NSW) and equivalent legislation in other states) requires us to keep certain medical records for seven years from your last appointment or until you are 25 years of age (whichever is later). These retained records are:
- Encrypted, segregated from the live application database, and accessible only by our Privacy Officer and authorised practitioners.
- Never used for any operational, marketing, analytics, or research purpose after deletion.
- Permanently destroyed after the legal retention window, with a destruction record kept for audit purposes.
Health Connect data only
If you only want to disconnect Google Health Connect (not delete your whole account), open the Health Connect app on your Android device, then tap App permissions → Phoenix Health → Remove all. See our Health Connect Privacy Notice for details.
