Google Health Connect — Privacy Notice

What this page is
When you tap “About this app” or “View permissions” inside the Google Health Connect app, Android opens this page. It explains exactly which health data Phoenix Health reads from Health Connect, what we use it for, and how to revoke access at any time.
What we read
Phoenix Health requests read-only access to the following data types in Health Connect. We never write to Health Connect, and we never request a category we don’t use.

How the data is used
- To populate your personal health dashboard inside the Phoenix Health app.
- To give your treating practitioners full context for assessments and care plans.
- To compute trends, biological-age estimates, and reference-range alerts.
- To audit your records (every read is logged with your account ID).
What we never do
- We never sell health data.
- We never share health data with advertisers or use it for marketing.
- We never use Health Connect data for AI model training without your explicit, written consent.
- We never write or modify data in your Health Connect store.
Storage and security
Data read from Health Connect is transmitted over TLS 1.2+ to our Australian servers and stored encrypted at rest. Each entry is associated only with your authenticated account. Full details in our general Privacy Policy.
How to revoke access
- Open the Health Connect app on your Android device.
- Tap App permissions → Phoenix Health.
- Toggle off any data type you no longer want shared, or tap Remove all.
You can also delete all data Phoenix has previously imported via the Data Deletion page or in-app at Profile → Settings → Data & Privacy.
